Our Team

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Pricing to lead both North American pricing and champion our global pricing capability.

 

The primary focus of this role is to lead Pricing (including list and promotional price setting) from long-term strategy to everyday execution for all products and services in North America to deliver on our regional strategy with customer and financial goals.

 

In addition, the role has a secondary focus to serve as the global champion of pricing excellence across all regions. This includes providing functional thought leadership for pricing leaders across all regions to establish and continually improve global best practices. The role is also responsible for partnering with the respective Product teams to develop and scale our global pricing capabilities (data, analytics, automation, price display).

 

Reporting directly to the EVP, North America and Global Marketing, you will supervise a high-performing pricing team, partner cross-functionally, and embed best-in-class pricing tools, governance, and processes throughout the global organization.

 

What You Will Do

North America

  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and own the North American pricing strategy across all product categories and shipping options, ensuring alignment with Vistaprint’s customer and commercial goals and long-term growth objectives.
  • Pricing Architecture: Define and implement a clear pricing architecture, including list price setting, discounting frameworks, promotional strategies, and margin targets to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Pricing Analytics & Optimization: Lead robust pricing analytics and experimentation, leveraging data-driven insights, price elasticities, and A/B testing to continuously optimize price points, improve margins, and drive revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Category, Marketing, Finance, VCS, and Manufacturing teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with product positioning, customer segmentation, inventory levels, and market dynamics.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and customer insights to proactively inform pricing decisions and identify new opportunities for differentiation and value creation.
  • Governance & Compliance: Build and oversee a North American pricing governance model, establishing clear approval processes, escalation paths, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Performance Management: Establish framework of relevant pricing KPIs and cadence to monitor, alongside with clear, executive-level reporting on pricing performance, including revenue impact, margin improvements, competitive positioning, and key risks, with actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing pricing team, fostering a culture of commercial excellence, innovation, and continuous learning while ensuring strong talent development and succession planning.

 

Global Capabilities

  • Tools & Technology: Work with technology and analytics partners to implement, manage, and continuously improve pricing tools, software, and analytics platforms to enhance pricing accuracy, efficiency, and agility across the organization.
  • Pricing Operations: Establish global pricing operations standards, ensuring consistency in price execution, maintenance, and updates across regions, while driving best practices for process efficiency and data governance.
  • Automation: Guide the product domain expert responsible for pricing automation to identify, prioritize and deliver pricing automation capabilities in partnership with technology teams. This includes automated price updates, rule-based pricing adjustments, and dynamic pricing capabilities, to improve scalability and reduce manual effort.
  • eCommerce capabilities: Collaborate with product, UX, and technology teams to deliver website enhancements that improve price presentation, promotional messaging, and personalized offers, ensuring an optimized customer experience across digital touchpoints.
  • Global Pricing Capability & Change Leadership: Lead global pricing capability building by facilitating knowledge sharing, training, and best practice adoption across regional teams, while driving change management and communication efforts to ensure smooth implementation, stakeholder alignment, and enterprise-wide adoption of pricing initiatives and tools.

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing leadership roles, ideally in ecommerce, retail, or consumer goods
  • Deep understanding of pricing strategy, revenue management, and commercial levers
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in price elasticity modelling, A/B testing, and financial analysis
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and market share gains
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level
  • Experience building/implementing pricing tools and analytics platforms
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, global, and data-driven environment
