We are looking for a proactive, energetic and hands-on Safety Coordinator who will help strengthen our safety culture across our manufacturing operations. This is a practical, people-focused role requiring a strong presence on the shop floor, where you will spend approximately 50% of your time engaging with employees, identifying risks, investigating incidents and coaching safe working practices.

What You Will Do
At VistaPrint, safety is about more than procedures and compliance. It is about creating a workplace where people recognise risks, make safe decisions and look out for one another.

Alongside your daily operational responsibilities, you will support regulatory compliance and drive safety improvement initiatives.

• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor, building relationships with operators, team leaders and managers.
• Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards and address unsafe conditions and behaviours.
• Coach employees on safe working practices and confidently challenge unsafe behaviour when necessary.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and safety deviations, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions.
• Support risk assessments, safety audits, toolbox talks, contractor safety and employee training.
• Manage day-to-day safety activities, including PPE vending machines, BHV emergency response team lists and training arrangements.
• Support compliance with applicable health and safety legislation, internal standards and relevant environmental requirements.
• Independently prioritise daily requests while driving longer-term safety improvements and ensuring actions are completed.

• You are energetic, approachable and assertive, with a strong sense of ownership. You enjoy working with people, take initiative without waiting for instructions and can balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideally, you have two to five years of experience in Health & Safety, SHE or a related field, preferably in manufacturing, production or another operational environment. Practical experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, toolbox talks or contractor safety is an advantage.
• We also welcome candidates from transferable backgrounds such as ergonomics, physiotherapy, emergency medical services, fire and rescue, military service, occupational health, technical field service or maintenance.
• Most importantly, you are comfortable on the shop floor, communicate effectively with a diverse workforce and can influence behaviour while building trust at all levels.
