Production Quality & Safety Specialist - Venlo, Onsite

At VistaPrint, the SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) team is the backbone of a safe, sustainable, and excellence-driven workplace. We don't just enforce rules; we partner with Production, Logistics, and Engineering to build a culture where safety and quality are second nature. We are looking for a proactive professional to help us drive continuous improvement across our state-of-the-art production floor.

What You Will Do

As a Production Quality & Safety Specialist, You will have a direct impact on product quality and production performance, working closely with experienced technical teams to solve real manufacturing challenges. During your initial weeks, you will shadow experienced SHEQ colleagues to learn our processes and equipment before progressively taking ownership of production issues..

• Respond quickly to production quality issues, such as lamination bubbles, banner bending, ink peeling and other product defects.
• Investigate machinery, substrate materials, process settings and production conditions to identify root causes.
• Implement immediate containment measures to prevent defective products from reaching customers.
• Develop and coordinate corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Work closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance and Operations to restore stable production as quickly as possible.
• Use observations and production data to support fact-based problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Support workplace inspections and incident investigations when required.

Your Qualifications

• You are practical, analytical and action-oriented. You enjoy understanding how machines, materials and processes work, and you take ownership of problems until they are resolved.
• Ideally, you have a technical education or background in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering or a related field. Experience in manufacturing, quality or technical operations is beneficial, with up to two years of experience being a suitable starting point.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, production troubleshooting, data analysis or corrective action management is an advantage. We also welcome candidates with limited experience who demonstrate strong technical curiosity, initiative and problem-solving skills.
• You are comfortable working on the production floor, responding to changing priorities and collaborating with different teams.
