At VistaPrint Manufacturing in Venlo, we are a team of dedicated engineers and operational professionals focused on delivering high-quality products and continuous improvement. Our department plays a crucial role in supporting production with technical expertise, innovative solutions, and lean practices that contribute to our global success.

What You Will Do

• Identify, scope, and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to optimize quality, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  
  

• Conduct root cause analyses and propose long- and short-term solutions for production issues.
  
  

• Lead or support cross-functional project teams to implement new processes, equipment, or product introductions.
  
  

• Collaborate with international Cimpress teams to align on projects and share best practices.
  
  

• Analyze data, perform measurements, and use insights to improve workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
  
  

• Create technical documentation and support in defining work standards and procedures.
  
  

• Provide operational support to Engineering and Production departments (~30% of time).
  
  

• Train employees on new processes, standards, and Lean tools while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications

• Higher Professional Education (HBO) degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
  
  

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  
  

• Demonstrated ability to run improvement projects with measurable outcomes (e.g., cost savings, quality gains).
  
  

• Strong analytical skills, with experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  
  

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both in Dutch and English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods.
  
  

• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI).
  
  

• Project management experience or certification.
  
  

• Exposure to international work environments or cross-cultural teams.
