Lead Software Engineer - Netherlands, Germany (Remote) 

Our Team

Our team is at the heart of fulfilling our customers' critical print products, including Next-Day Delivery service, through our next-level production system. We're driven by innovation, constantly seeking to expand our capabilities into new product areas and enhance our production efficiency and flexibility.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical leadership, fostering a strong sense of code ownership within the team, and managing ongoing training with a focus on code quality.

• Develop and implement a robust production security concept, ensuring all code and systems adhere to high-quality and security standards.

• Drive our containerization strategy using Kubernetes and ECS, while applying expert-level development skills in Java, React, and Python to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Implement AI tools to optimize code, accelerate development workflows, and promote AI-based quality checks.

• Optimize JIRA project management processes to enhance efficiency and transparency across development initiatives.

• Manage and refine our log solutions, leveraging Elasticsearch to provide critical insights, live monitoring, alerting, and facilitate effective troubleshooting.

• Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of features.

• Do you possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field?

• Do you have 10+ years of experience as a software developer?

• Do you have proven experience in a team leadership role?

• Do you have a strong working knowledge of Java, React, and Python?

• Do you have practical experience in cloud computing?

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch for managing and analyzing logs.

• Familiarity with AI/ML tools for code optimization and development acceleration.

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization technologies.
