The Manufacturing Engineering & Technology department is the core driver of operational excellence, defining the technological standards and systems that power our global manufacturing network. We are dedicated to transforming our production processes into structural, scalable, and highly reliable operations. As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be instrumental in embedding a sustainable CI culture that drives significant, measurable organizational performance improvements across the Venlo Manufacturing Site. 

What You Will Do

The Continuous Improvement Manager is a key change agent responsible for transforming the organization’s operational systems into a structural, scalable, and sustainable framework. This role reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Technology. Your core responsibilities include:

• Develop and Execute Strategy: Define and implement the organization-wide CI strategy, focusing on systemic, structural solutions over localized 'quick fixes,' aligning CI initiatives with overarching business objectives.

• Lead and Coach the Team: Formally manage and develop the CI team, while coaching and guiding operational leaders and managers on how to sustain improvements and lead daily CI activities.

• Drive Cultural Adoption: Act as a change agent to foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning, ensuring CI becomes an institutionalized practice throughout the organization.

• Establish Metrics and Reporting: Design and implement a robust framework for measuring and transparently reporting the financial and operational impact (e.g., ROI, OEE, Cost of Quality) of all CI initiatives.

• Engineer Robust Systems: Build sustainable CI frameworks that integrate seamlessly with existing business and engineering processes, applying reliability engineering and quality principles to create robust systems.

• Ensure Accountability: Establish clear KPIs and metrics to measure impact, and ensure accountability for embedding all changes into standard work processes and operational systems.

• Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate extensively with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Business functions to ensure end-to-end integration and align teams on systemic bottlenecks and problem-solving.

• Do you have 8+ years of proven experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Reliability Engineering, or Quality Leadership?

• Do you have proven success in leading organization-wide CI transformations that delivered structural, non-localized improvements?

• Do you possess strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Systems Thinking methodologies?

• Can you demonstrate excellent skills in change management, facilitation, and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels, navigating resistance to change?

• Do you have a strategic mindset with the ability to diagnose systemic problems and see the "bigger picture?"

Nice to Have

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.

• Background in Reliability Engineering or Quality Systems implementation.
