Production Artist

Creative Production Studio - Production Designer 
Vistaprint is seeking a talented, energetic designer to work on our production studio team. This designer produces assets in a variety of languages, styles and sizes to go live on our site. The ideal candidate will have experience in a collaborative, fast-paced and deadline-driven graphic design atmosphere. 

Responsibilities:

• Make design modifications using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Execute design updates, expansions and revisions based on existing designs
• Elevate designs while staying within the original concept
• Attention to detail when applying product guidelines and best practices
• Ability to adapt to new technology and design trends
• Responsible for following established processes (reviews, buddy checks, etc.)
• Turn art direction and feedback into positive learning experiences
• Take constructive feedback and turn it in to positive customer experience
• Provide support to graphic designers and art directors
• Maintain a balance of quality and efficiency of individual deliverables
• Communicate effectively with local and international teams

 
Experience:

• 3 years of relevant design experience (in-house or agency)
• Portfolio that demonstrates typography, layout and conceptual skills
• Working in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment 
• Receiving and applying feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Ability and desire to learn additional design technologies and applications
• Strong collaboration skills across multiple departments and locations

Education/Skillset:

• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
• Offset/four-color process printing experience an asset
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of written and verbal English
