Digital Marketing Specialist

A member of the Vista’s Omnichannel Excellence & Activation team, the Display & Video Specialist will report into the Display & Video Manager and is responsible for applying domain expertise in media buying platforms, technology solutions, and data-driven attribution to oversee the development of media plans that will deliver against key business objectives. The role will partner with Media Planning, Media Operations, Technology, and Analytics teams as well as external partners to translate business objectives into impactful media plans. These plans will span a variety of programmatic advertising formats such as banners, native, digital video, streaming audio, and CTV to enable full funnel marketing campaigns that improve reach, drive site traffic and keyword queries, and deliver against ROAS efficiency guidelines. Demonstrated success developing brand-building and performance media tactics is desirable.


What You Will Do:

  • Partner with the Display & Video team to develop full funnel media plans that drive reach, traffic, and ROAS, using various formats (eg HTML5, native, dynamic, audio, video) across devices (eg mobile, desktop, CTV)
  • Partner with the Regional Media Planning teams to translate market objectives and briefs into localized plans.
  • Cultivate relationships with key external partners to identify untapped opportunities, participate in betas, monitor SOV and competitive benchmarking, and evolve media buying approach.
  • Partner with Ad Operations to ensure campaigns are properly trafficked and passing necessary data into internal and external reporting suites.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and similar tools to analyze campaign traffic, attributed orders, and incremental value of campaigns.
  • Partner with analytics and Display & Video team members to execute holdout testing and/or geo-lift experiments to demonstrate the incremental impact of media.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting to stakeholders on campaign performance.
  • Ensure timely submission of media invoices and costs to Finance.


Your Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with AdWords and DSPs such as TheTradeDesk or DV360
  • Understanding of various media formats (video, banners, native, CTV, audio) and the role they play in the path to conversion.
  • Experience conducting partner holdout testing and/or geo-lift experimentation a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with third-party ad servers (eg Campaign Manager)
  • Strength in analytical thinking and usage of digital analytics platforms (eg Google Analytics); emphasis on analyzing data to make informed decisions.
  • Positive relationship building and interpersonal skills with internal business partners and external vendors.
