The Senior Specialist, Site Merchandising, is responsible for the day to day management and optimization of category specific site experiences. This role uses data driven insights to manage product launches, run experiments, and provide actionable recommendations that improve the customer journey and drive category performance.

 

What You Will Do

Category Site Merchandising 

  • Supports category strategies by providing data driven recommendations on how to prioritize site updates based on projected impact.

  • Leads the merchandising strategy and execution for new product launches, ensuring optimal positioning and discoverability from day one.

  • Drives influence and performance within individual category teams through continuous optimizations and experimentation.

  • Implements global merchandising playbooks while providing feedback loops to Product and UX teams on how automation tools need to be localized for specific market and category nuance.

Data, Analytics & Experimentation

  • Apply excellent analytical and data literacy skills to efficiently pull, synthesize, and report data, create informative dashboards, and identify trends.

  • Leverage data insights to develop and implement actionable strategies. Proactively monitor real time, model driven customer experiences to optimize algorithms and promptly detect and resolve issues.

  • Independently set up, implement, and analyze category specific experiments end to end, including creating the learning agenda, sample sizing, hypothesis generation, result analysis, and refining future plans.

  • Contribute to the logic that defines rule driven merchandising experiences by partnering with product and engineering teams based on performance insights.

  • Regularly audit automated site zones (Model Performance Monitoring) to ensure the AI aligns with brand standards and inventory positions.

  • BS degree in Communications, Business or Marketing, or related degrees

  • 4+ year experience working in an eCommerce and/or Merchandising related role

  • Consistent track record of partnering with cross-functional teams. Thrives in a cross-functional environment, frequently supporting and occasionally leading initiatives that span multiple categories and/or departments.

  • Experience working with Agile principles and methodologies a plus

  • Data Literacy & Testing: Strong ability to work with analytics tools to pull data independently and turn numbers into actionable next steps. Hands on experience driving A/B or multivariate tests and a solid understanding of testing methodologies. Prior experience with the logic behind automated and algorithm driven merchandising. 

  • Customer Obsessed: Prioritizes a strong connection and eagerness to be close to customers. Leverages customer insights to align merchandising strategies with category plans, prioritizing the customer in all decision making. 

  • Systems Thinker: Looks for ways to solve a problem for 1,000 items at once rather than one item at a time.

  • Detail Oriented Execution: Ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously, from small category tweaks to large scale product launches or experience overhauls.

  • Business Writing: Actively contribute to business and strategy document writing, focusing on story-telling through data-driven insights.

Compensation: 

 

US Target Hiring Range :$61,000.00 - $104,000.00 Per Year

 

Cimpress/Vista is committed to transparent and competitive compensation. In alignment with our compensation philosophy, 
the target hiring range is based on total cash compensation across our multiple U.S. pay zones. The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as location, education, training, and experience. Cimpress/Vista offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, wealth and wellness programs, as well as long-term equity incentives, subject to eligibility.

Due to current US government policy changes, we are currently not sponsoring new H-1B petitions subject to the $100,000 filing fee under the September 2025 Presidential Proclamation. Candidates with existing work authorization or H-1B status not subject to this fee may still be considered.
