Product Marketing: A global team which excels in bringing a product/platform/service to market, and for both key new and existing products is responsible for communicating the product’s value to the market & customers. This includes aspects such as determining product positioning, key messaging, creating Value Propositions, playbooks, tools and assets, GTM strategies and approaches. It also ensures key stakeholder and customers understand the offering and this team develops Marketing activities and initiatives to different audiences in a way that drives key demand and usage. This team also plays a critical role ensuring consistencies and coordination of major initiatives across Categories and Countries.   


What You Will Do:


Vista has a key strategic initiative to build, nurture and elevate how we approach Product Marketing today across the business and the value it can deliver. The Product Marketing Manager straight line reports into the P&SM Central Marketing function, but is highly embedded and supports a number of our key Design & Services Product Categories. Product Marketers are key roles which are embedded very deliberately into a specific group/s to ensure that they become the Marketing voice for a given area by having strong Category and Product expertise and understanding the Category’s vision. They then also act in a Central Marketing capacity, for example as a liaison between the Category and Central Marketing organizations.


  • Primary responsibility is to communicate the Category and Product’s value to the market & customers.
  • Working with the Senior Product Marketing team, creates the overall product / category marketing strategy & plans by partnering closely with Category Portfolio leads across different product categories.
  • Creates demand for products through effective positioning, messaging and marketing programs, including creating the customer facing Value Proposition for a Product/Category (works closely with Product Managers to align on overall direction)
  • Creation of Toolboxes & key support 'menus' for product groups and regions to deploy (playbooks, assets, copy, creative, comms etc) – Framework owners and developers – sharing globally as necessary
  • For key launches / initiatives creates campaign strategies to attract new prospects and customers – thereafter works with GTM who build, execute and deliver campaigns
  • Sets the bar across categories for approaches, tools, and content to support a given product/platform/service
  • Contributes and feeds into Product & Category strategies & initiatives – brings a vital Marketing perspective to those meetings, reviews and decisions – attends biannual reviews
  • Phasing – closely working with product and country groups builds phasing and vital planning and prioritization into the marketing calendar
  • Works closely with teams such as the MX, Content Marketing team & Search teams to build successful category strategies
  • Identifies Category research and insights needs
  • Data orientated
  • Customer obsessed – helps to identify market and consumer data to build and manage cohesive and meaningful marketing plans for the category
  • Works closely with GTM team to ensure that briefs are clear, targeted and consequent – thereafter part of the feedback and sign off process for deliverables

  • 4+ years of proven experience in Marketing, ideally Product Marketing related fields
  • Someone who brings passion & energy to the team
  • Ability to think analytically and use data to make informed recommendations
  • Customer-first mentality and foresight for delivering the best end-to-end experience
  • Has strong levels of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
  • Comfortable working in highly cross-functional & global teams – able to network and build relationships
  • Degree educated – desirable, not mandatory
