Lead Software Engineer, Technology - Europe Remote

Our Team:

The Personalization & CRM Technology team provides the software products and infrastructure that capture, centrally aggregate, and expose customer data enabling business users to create personalized, relevant, and tailored customer experiences and offers. To the Vista customer, we provide that personalized content across multiple marketing channels, thus enabling customer acquisition and retention. We offer a collection of self-service tools, platforms and data that allows business stakeholders to create different and relevant campaigns for our customers.

What You Will Do:

• Craft tools which allow other teams to personalize content of Vista’s website.
• Code data pipelines backed by machine-learning APIs to fuel recommendation engines.
• Build a gateway in front of Vista’s global site to augment every request with session data.
• Develop our services end to end. Each team owns the whole solution, starting with the first line of code and ending with running it in production.
• Help colleagues in the team grow by applying your skills and experience in collaboration.
• Work together with lead engineers from surrounding teams on holistic solutions.
• Work with cloud on daily basis.

Your Qualifications:

• You can write code in an object-oriented programming language like JavaScript, C#, Java, Ruby, Python.
• You have solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with creating and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with Agile development
• Awareness of DevOps best practices and experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with Cloud technologies and building Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Serverless and Container-based deployments
• Excellent collaboration skills and a desire to work with a cross-cultural team
• You enjoy collaborating and pairing with other software engineers.
• You welcome feedback from your peers and act upon it.
• You are eager to learn and grow as a Software Engineer.
