Job role - Operate and maintain digital and large-format printing equipment to produce high-quality prints efficiently, supporting production targets and deadlines. This is an hourly paid role under the EBA; applicants must have full working rights in Australia, be able to commute to Derrimut. Key Job Functions in Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate digital and/or Large Format printing machines (e.g., HP Indigo, Kornits, Epson, etc.)
- Set up and calibrate printers based on job specifications and order requirements and ensure quick changeovers
- Monitor print quality and perform routine maintenance to avoid downtime
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate major ones when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of job runs, materials, and machine usage
- Support finishing tasks as needed (e.g., trimming, guillotining, padding, binding, die cutting, folding, laminating, UV coating, packing, Scoring and Perforation)
- Follow safety and quality assurance protocols at all times
Experience /Training
- Finishing experience
- Trouble shooting – capable of performing routine maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of Lean principals
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Printing industry experience
