Lead Machine Learning Engineer, Marketing Spend Optimization- Spain Remote

At Vista Engineering, we are on a mission to become industry-leading in engineering, data, and analytics to create products and services that empower small business owners across the globe in the areas of marketing and design. The Marketing Optimization domain within Vista Engineering focuses on delivering marketing intelligence to power engaging, effective and efficient communication with customers.

As part of the Marketing Optimization domain, you'll join a cross-functional product team named NBA (Next-Best-Action), a team of 9 problem-solving, fun-loving enthusiasts spread across Spain, India and Boston. Our mission? To provide the customer with the right marketing message at the right time and place. We're using state-of-the-art models with our in-house developed models to optimize content and time. We have a successful product (A recommender system that increases revenue by sending personalized emails). Still, we aim to employ more advanced Data Science techniques alongside better MLOps processes to help us scale, we will also be working on transferring that success in email to the site.

What You Will Do: 

• Bring advanced MLOps techniques into NBA’s suite of data products, driving transformative solutions for our digital marketing spend.

• Bring advanced Data Engineering techniques to help us build a more efficient Data Preprocessing Pipeline

• Collaborate closely with partners across the business, understanding the problems we are solving, defining success metrics, and effectively communicating methodologies and results.

• Build new models and algorithms; as well as provide suggestions and help improve the effectiveness of our existing solutions.

• Champion innovation by generating and implementing new ideas, using the collective expertise of Vista Engineering to turn concepts into actionable data products.

• Contribute to a roadmap creating data products our customers love.

Your Qualifications:

• Excellent programming skills in SQL, Python and building CI/CD pipelines.

• 3+ years of Machine Learning model development and MLOps experience and 2+ years of knowledge in data manipulation and analysis tools (Pandas or Spark)

• Knowledge of Neural Networks and Deep Learning (typical Python libraries include TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, OpenAI).

• Excellent knowledge of Data Visualization and Analysis

Nice to Have: 

• Relevant work experience in an Agile environment.

• Experience using Snowflake

• Experience in dashboard development (looker,H2O Wave, Python dash)
