Senior Front-End Engineer, Ukraine - Remote

Our Team

VistaCreate is an online graphic design platform used by millions of people worldwide to create social media content, presentations, marketing materials, and more.

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll work on one of the core parts of the product - from the design editor and user-facing features to our server-side rendering platform and frontend infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain product features using React and TypeScript
• Build reusable, scalable UI components
• Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of the frontend
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers
• Contribute to our internal frontend platform and SSR infrastructure
  
  

Your Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial frontend development experience
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid experience with React, Hooks, Redux, and React Router
• Experience building scalable SPAs
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, CSS Modules, and PostCSS
• Experience with Webpack and modern frontend tooling
• Experience writing unit or integration tests for React applications
• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) as part of the development workflow
• Ability to work collaboratively and explain technical decisions
• English level B1+
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js-based SSR applications
• Familiarity with React Query, Socket.IO, or Canvas libraries (e.g. Konva)
• Experience with Storybook, Sentry
• Experience working with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
