About the team:


The CARE Design Operations team is Vista’s design crew, handling customers across multiple locales, and supporting them by providing expert designs for a range of marketing materials and products offered by Vista. Understanding the needs and dreams of small business owners is one of the keys to success in this crucial role. As a Design Consultant, you will be the design and marketing partner for small businesses. 


Your role will involve:


The Design Consultant will be part of a specialized team that provides design support to our customers. We do design from scratch, advanced customization of Vista design templates and modifications to customer design assets. The goal is to provide jaw-dropping customer value. You will respond to all customer inquiries through written, voice and video interactions (or any other channel provided) according to our defined service standards. You will primarily assist Swedish customers, but also interact with the global team, being ready to support different markets when needed. Responsibilities and tasks entail:


  • You process design requests from customers, following the process requirements and deliver a high-quality output tailored to the customer’s needs
  • You provide customer support via inbound and outbound communication through written, voice and video interactions, and any additional channels as developed, according to our defined service standards
  • You provide marketing and product advice and maintain brand consistency throughout all customer marketing projects
  • You apply a customer centricity approach to design and customer interactions through demonstrating empathy and attentive listening and “going the extra mile” to understand the customer brief, design style preferences and industry-related needs to offer the best solutions to customers
  • You build strong and lasting customer relationships and show commitment through the interactions with customers
  • You manage difficult customer interactions with the use of empathy, positive scripting and co-creating solutions with the customer
  • You participate in activities that contribute to continuous improvement of the skills required for the role
  • You achieve set targets and deadlines
  • You proactively raise issues regarding systems, tools, performance and processes
  • You assume additional areas of responsibility if necessary
  • You deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences as well as appropriate tone of voice and body language

Graphic design skills:


  • Strong analytical and comprehension skills: ability to understand customer needs and effectively dissect creative brief
  • Attention to detail and accuracy/precision in design execution
  • Ability to dissect any design output and provide concrete improvements on it
  • Adobe Creative Suite: proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat and basic knowledge in InDesign
  • In-depth knowledge of design principles and elements of design and expertise in their effective application
  • Strong layout and typography skills


Soft skills:


  • Ability to articulate ideas well and engage in meaningful conversations, being able to provide arguments for the design decisions
  • Customer centricity mindset
  • Open-minded and criticism-tolerant with a good ability to handle customers’ complaints and rejections
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to openly communicate in a team environment based on continuous feedback
  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop
  • Understanding of final art preparation standards and processes (including knowledge in the difference between file formats)
  • Fluency in Swedish language, level B2 German language proficiency and strong English communication skills, both verbally and written, including active listening and creating rapport. Any other Nordic language skills would be a plus, but not mandatory.


Education and previous experience:


  • Either at least one year of graphic design industry experience or inexperienced, but with a good portfolio
  • Degree/Diploma course in Graphic Design or equivalent (nice to have)
