Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for supplier management, business continuity and sustainability, owning the category procurement strategy and total cost of ownership improvements to achieve Vista targets.

 

The Role and Responsibilities:

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Improvement:

  • Plan annual tenders, improvements projects and negotiations calendar aligned with category and BUs’ priority list
  • Find opportunities and prepare RFIs/RFQs
  • Suggest and implement sourcing strategy
  • Implement price negotiations in multiple formats
  • Co-lead negotiations award; follow up supplier transitions

Category Strategy

  • Co-develop Category Procurement Strategy including:
  • Scoping, industry analysis, business requirements, risk assessment, stakeholder mapping, category plan, etc.

Supplier Management

  • Identify new potential suppliers
  • Review Supplier performance periodically
  • Work on Continuous Improvement programs
  • Keep supplier engaged with Vista to maximise results
  • Coordinate supplier work for quality issues resolution
  • Assure NDAs, Contracts and Terms & Conditions are signed and up to date

 

New Revenue + Business Continuity + Sustainability & CSR

  • Support businesses teams to introduce new products
  • Suggests alternatives for new products
  • Monitor and understand industry trends
  • Change materials and suppliers to achieve Sustainability Targets
  • Monitor supplier risks and act to mitigate them

 

Key Performance Indicators

  • Understand key performance indicators.
  • Input required information in Sievo and assure it is up to date
  • Maintain SAP for all procurement SKU’s
  • Follow category market intelligence
  • Co-develop annual budget
  • Be a trusted “go to person” for all BUs procurement needs of the category
  • Continuous improvement initiatives, commercial and other relevant topics
  • Initiate long and short terms initiatives with suppliers

 

Key Skills and Experience for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, financial or technical study
  • Minimum of 5 years regional procurement experience preferred.
  • Experience in a large international corporate environment with multiple BU’s, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structure preferred
  • High level user of Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical skills, good knowledge of business analysis and costing – TCO models
  • Basic knowledge of legal documents, able to read and interpret contracts, and involve the legal support, when necessary, through Plant Director
  • Experience in Packaging, Graphic Printing or Signage categories
