We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized HR Program Manager to lead and coordinate critical HR workstreams related to the startup and expansion of new manufacturing facilities. This role will serve as a key liaison between HR, operations, and cross-functional partners to ensure the seamless setup and activation of people-related processes, systems, and policies.
As the business grows, this role will evolve to include broader global HR program support, driving alignment, consistency, and innovation across our global manufacturing network.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, proven change management expertise, HR process experience, exceptional program management skills, and a track record of delivering transformation at speed in fast-paced ecommerce settings.
What You Will Do
Startup Manufacturing Site Support
- Lead and manage HR programs and project plans for new site activation, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, training, employee relations readiness, and policy deployment, acting as the central HR liaison across Talent Acquisition, L&D, Total Rewards, HRIS, and Employee Relations teams.
- Partner closely with manufacturing and site operations leaders to translate business needs into actionable HR deliverables, establishing project governance, tracking milestones, and managing risks to ensure timely execution.
- Develop and implement localized policies, procedures, and employee communications aligned with corporate and legal standards.
- Track and interpret data and metrics to provide insights that drive alignment and support decision-making.
Global Manufacturing Strategy Support
- Collaborate with HR teams globally to assess current-state processes and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing HR playbooks, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and enhanced employee experience.
- Facilitate adoption of new HR manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and digital tools, including researching AI applications to automate onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and HR administration.
- Partner with local HR teams to streamline talent and people practices across manufacturing sites while accounting for local nuances.
- Support HR leadership in designing and implementing workforce strategies that enable rapid manufacturing transformation.
Your Qualifications

- 8+ years of program management experience in global manufacturing HR environments with demonstrated ability to deliver results under aggressive timelines.
- 3+ years of hands-on change management experience in industrial settings including methods such as Kotter, Lean Change Management.
- 2+ years of HR experience of demonstrated partnership with HR functions in organizational transformation contexts.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale transformation initiatives with compressed delivery schedules.
- Experience with workforce restructuring, labor relations, and employee engagement during organizational change.
- Proficiency with AI tools, Project Management tools, and HR systems (SAP success factors, GenAI platforms
- Ability to travel up to 30% to manufacturing facilities.
- Experience working with collective labor councils.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred (MBA, MS in Organizational Development, or HR-related advanced degree), or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, operational metrics, and emerging technologies including automation and digital transformation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in manufacturing
- Experience with greenfield manufacturing start ups.
- Certifications such as Proschi, CCMP (Change Management), PMP (Project Management), PHR, SHRM-CP, (HR).
