Sr. SAP Functional Consultant

Vista is the leader in customized printing products and technology. As a Specialist SAP FI-CO configuration analyst on the Core Finance Team, you will play a key role in the build & maintenance of SAP and integrated technology solutions for new company codes as well as supporting and expanding our current S4 Hana environment. The optimal candidate for this position will have multiple years of FI-CO consulting and / or support experience through multinational SAP deployments, and will have utilized such experience to implement and support global solutions in SAP. 

Your role will involve:

• Solicit business requirements, recommend best-in-class solutions, and lead the design, build, deployment, support, and test efforts for complex business processes within SAP Financials module
• Demonstrate expertise in SAP financial (FI) and management accounting (CO) modules & their integration with other SAP modules like Material management, Sales & distribution
• Understand and design SAP solutions using integration with third party systems
• Ownership and coordination of roll outs involving system configuration, and cutover of new company codes to support Vistas growth and expansion in existing and new countries.
• Demonstrate ownership to maintain and expand system and user documentation such as support notes, new company code playbook.
• Triage and troubleshoot production issues in SAP Financials through resolution and escalate as appropriate in a timely and professional manner.
• Explore opportunities for improvements in the existing functionality and implement scalable solutions in SAP Financials.
• Collaborate with SAP Tech teams-ABAP, Fiori, Basis and Security, SAP Functional analysts, Product owners and Finance business partners across the globe for requirements gathering, design reviews, status updates in small to medium sized projects.
• Provide functional specifications to SAP Development team on RICEF work in SAP and own functional testing of solutions developed around RICEF and bug fixes as well.
• Collaboration with key stakeholders in the US, as well as with business partners located across the globe in North America, Europe, India and Australia.

To be successful you will need:

• SAP functional configuration and finance business process experience of 7+ years in GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Controlling, MM-FI Integration, SAP integration with third party tools such as Concur, Coupa, Blackline.
• Demonstrated experience in S/4 HANA (1610 release or after) and thorough understanding of Finance design and concepts in S/4 HANA such as Universal Journal, CDS views, Fiori apps.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to identify root cause and provide permanent solutions.
• Ability to converse and gather requirements from non technical business partners and recommend the solution design resulting repeatable and scalable processes.
• Willingness to learn new functionality and modules and contribute to the success of Vista
• Experience supporting international sales/use tax, Treasury/Cash Management and company code roll out experience in SAP, is a plus.
• Fluent in English, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work environment:

1. Shift: 12.30 PM 9.30 PM IST to provide partial overlap with US Eastern standard time
2. Must be able to self-manage and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
3. Open to travel North America and / or Europe on short term basis as needed.
4. Effectively work and ensure productivity using remote collaboration tools and practices prescribed by Vista and travel to Vista’s designated locations in India for team building events etc.
