Senior DevOps Engineer, Technology - Europe Remote

Our Team:

The Personalization & CRM Technology team provides the software products and infrastructure that capture, centrally aggregate, and expose customer data enabling business users to build personalized, relevant, and tailored customer experiences and offers. To the Vista customer, we provide that personalized content across multiple marketing channels, thus enabling customer acquisition and retention. We offer a collection of self-service tools, platforms and data that allows business stakeholders to create different and relevant campaigns for our customers.

What You Will Do:

• Delivering core infrastructure the engineering teams depend on
• Optimizing existing systems and services to improve their reliability and availability
• Improving our infrastructure monitoring and incident management
• Evaluating and implementing new features and technologies, and integrating them with the current environment
• Collaborating with engineering teams to guide them on cloud native and continuous delivery best practices
• Working with the Security team to deliver secure infrastructure
• Documenting processes and updating knowledge base
• Coaching and supporting team members

Your Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of DevOps principles
• Minimum of two years working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Experience implementing CI/CD, designing and implementing highly scalable infrastructure. Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code, and automation tooling (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
• Comfortable writing backend software and automation tooling
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (or any other cloud provider)

Nice to Have:

• Debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of source code development tools and version control tools (GitHub, Git, GitLab, etc.)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker or other container platforms
• Experience working in a global organization and operating autonomously
