The CRMagic team at Vista is on a mission to be the expert design and marketing partner for small businesses through crafting and fulfilling exciting, personalised customer experiences and interactions. Our CRMagic team blends together the Art & Science of Marketing, AI and Technology to enable the full cycle of customer experience, and achieve the relevancy that inspires our customers to come back!

We are looking for a driven Senior Analyst to join the Next Best Action (NBA) product team. NBA is an algorithm-based “learning system” which will facilitate our customers’ omnichannel journey by detecting customer needs (state), and communicating them with the right treatment at the right moment, in the right context.

What You Will Do:

  • Experimentation. Be an ambassador for experimentation excellence and find opportunities to use the NBA solution to run customer-facing tests.
  • Data Visualization and Dashboarding. Identify trends and drivers, perform exploratory data analyses and present views that will provide access to our data products' performance and ultimately guides the development / build of NBA data products and solutions.
  • Pro-actively seek improvements and develop the tools & dashboards that enable automation and inversion of control (self-service for partners). These should follow the user requirements from the various collaborators according to the priorities agreed within the team.
  • Data analysis and modeling. Incorporate multiple data sources and methodologies to conduct in-depth, tailored analysis of customer behaviour in response to personalized treatments to uncover key useful information such as insights and trends to support business decisions.
  • Deriving important conclusions and recommendations to act from the analyses and present them to the team and to collaborators, including taking vital adjustments in communication approach and style.
  • Collaborating in a fast paced, agile environment that focuses on delivering customer value early and often. We expect that you are Customer obsessed – that you are motivated by doing the right / best thing for customers (both internal business collaborators and consumers).
  • Be immersed in diverse profiles (e.g., Product Owners, Marketing Specialists, Data Engineers, Data Scientists) where you will collaborate on analyses and continually bring forward ideas and insights to drive value for our customers.
  • Be a self-starter. The Next Best Action team is relatively new, so you’ll need to become comfortable with defining your own path within the team.

Your Qualifications:

At Vista, we value the experiences that individual team members add to our culture. Please don't hesitate to apply even if you don't meet the exact qualifications, we look forward to learning more about you!

  • Passionate about data and technology. You are proficient in SQL queries. Other programming languages (e.g., Python, R) are very nice to have, as well as having experience with Cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) or data pipelines. You have data visualization experience (ideally in Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar). Having had exposure to web analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) is also nice to have but not required.
  • Expert. 2+ years in an analytics environment to drive meaningful business / customer impact. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field is nice to have.
  • Experience in designing/monitoring and analyzing experiments (A/B, multi variant, Bayesian, multi-arm-bandit) using statistic rigor and be able to guide collaborators on how to interpret accurately the test results. Moreover, you are comfortable with exploratory analysis and statistical techniques and are driven to find important patterns and trends in the data.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential with a proficient level of English.
  • Experience and understanding of advanced analytics (e.g. regression / clustering) or data science / machine learning methodologies.
