What You Will Do

This role is a dynamic combination of Employee Relations, HR Operations, and Process Innovation:

Employee Relations & Compliance:

  • Provide advice and guidance to line management on employee-related matters and remote performance management best practices.

  • Proactively identify employee relations trends or themes and leverage data to tell the story.

  • Recommend, draft, and maintain HR policies.

HR Operations & Administration (incl. Payroll collaboration):

  • Manage and maintain employee files (digitally and physically) in strict compliance with German labor law (employment contracts, amendment agreements, and exit documentation etc.)

  • Drive the onboarding process for new hires and lead the offboarding process in collaboration with global HR Business Partners.

  • Prepare payroll-related data, track absences (sick leave, vacation), manage governmental applications, and collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely monthly data submission.

Innovation & Process Automation:

  • Establish and maintain reporting and metrics to analyze topics like sickness data, supporting decision-making.

  • Support the further development of HR processes (benefits, professional development, work schedule models).

  • Leverage your innovative mindset to find new ways to automate and scale HR operations, driving proactive team member communication to enhance the overall employee experience
