We are seeking a passionate and driven Sr. US HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR team and contribute to a high-quality employee experience. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, this role will provide guidance and support on a broad range of HR matters, with a strong focus on employee relations and operations. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, demanding close collaboration with business leaders, HR Business Partners, HR functional experts, and Legal to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
What You Will Do
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Recommend, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with US employment laws and regulations.
- Proactively identify employee relations trends and themes, and utilize data to inform strategies and solutions.
- Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews, analyzing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Support HR operations, including HRIS updates, reporting, and data management.
- Manage the relationship with our I-9 vendor Equifax overseeing I-9 verifications and Mobility reverifications.
- Partner with Mobility to process H1-B renewals, visa support and act as the US signatory.
- Support and respond to team member HR Operations, and Benefits questions through our case management system, Service Center.
- Collaborate with HR functional experts (Compensation, Benefits, etc.) to support the administration of HR programs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and HR operations.
- In-depth knowledge of US federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in working in international organizations, and possess the mindset it takes to successfully collaborate across locations and cultures.
- Able to establish trust and credibility, handling confidential information in a mature and professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability in advising and coaching managers in a variety of complex situations exercising sound judgement while balancing organizational needs and risk.
Nice to Have
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Able to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in situations that require creative problem-solving and decision-making in the grey areas.
- Basic knowledge of U.S. immigration processes and visa types
- Thrive in fast-paced environments, are energized by change and have a structured working style that allows you to efficiently balance multiple priorities.
- Excel at detailed execution while also maintaining an understanding of the broader context.
