What You Will Do
As a Senior Procurement Manager (CAPEX), you’ll lead and innovate in procurement strategies, supplier management, and balanced sourcing.
- Market & Category Strategy. Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and drive cost savings, efficiency, and innovation.
- Supplier Management. Build and maintain positive relationships with global suppliers. Lead selection, negotiation, and performance management to ensure high standards in cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with key teams—engineering, product development, operations, finance, and leadership—to align sourcing strategies with company priorities and ensure seamless execution.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight. Identify supply chain risks and ensure compliance with regulations and ethical sourcing standards. Develop mitigation plans to reduce exposure and support responsible procurement practices.
- Balanced Leadership. Promote and implement balanced sourcing by selecting eco-friendly and ethically responsible materials. Influence supplier practices to meet corporate ESG goals.
- Innovation Support. Collaborate with product teams to bring innovative, driven products to market. Use supplier insights and market data to identify improvement opportunities and drive differentiation.
In addition, you’ll use your outstanding communication skills, to establish and nurture trust-based relationships with both internal and external collaborators, whilst bringing cultural awareness and sensitivity to the global company setting. Your ability to adapt, prioritize, work to tight deadlines, and independently problem solve are critical to perform well in this role.
Note that this role requires global travel 20-30% of the time.
Your Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience leading a strategic procurement category in a multinational, cross-functional environment
- Sophisticated proficiency in the Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of business analysis, costing, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Fundamental knowledge of legal documentation, with the capability to interpret contracts and determine when to engage legal support
- Proven people leadership skills with the ability to engage with individuals across varying levels of expertise and seniority, including upper management

- Proficiency in additional languages, particularly German, Italian, French or Mandarin
