Software Engineer

Job Description: Full stack Software Engineer Job Summary: As a full-stack software engineer in Pixartprinting technology team of Cimpress you will be a member of the mission critical team that develops solutions to run our core ecommerce services. This involves developing and maintaining the multiple ecommerce microservices and portal that produces millions of affordable, highly customized, personalized physical products for businesses and consumers, supporting the processes from order reception till the product is successfully delivered to the customer's door. Key Responsibilities: • Qualified candidate will be developing and delivering in a fast-paced environment. • Candidate will be working on microservices and web portal development using PHP(Laravel) and Vue.js. • Candidate will be working with multiple teams across countries solving problems in ecommerce domain. • Candidates must stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices. Be open to learning new languages, frameworks and tools as needed. • Candidates must maintain and update technical documentation related to code and architecture. Skills and Qualifications: • 1- 2.5 years of experience with PHP (Laravel) • Strong problem-solving skills, data structures and algorithms • Fluency in Object Oriented Programming. Knowledge on PHP (Laravel) is required. • Knowledge on distributed enterprise systems, structured engineering, design patterns, and principles of software architecture Service-oriented architecture (SOA) development of RESTful services. • Familiarity with frontend technologies for the web (CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, XML, React or Vue.js/Nuxt.js). • Knowledge on Git and continuous build and integration using versioning software GitHub. • Knowledge about databases either SQL-based RDBMS or NoSQL. • Knowledge about cloud service infrastructure and platforms (AWS). • Familiarity with agile development methodologies specially SCRUM will be added advantage. • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment is must. • Ability to adapt to new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
