For our Quality department in Venlo we are currently looking for a:


Quality Engineer (1 FTE)

As Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality of both the products and the manufacturing process. Any problems regarding our products and processes will be reported to you. You will identify those problems and work together with the relevant departments and/or colleagues to find solutions. In this position, you will be working closely with different production departments and Manufacturing Engineers.


In addition, you will offer support to our Quality Controllers and you will help guide this team in carrying out quality reviews. You will implement new quality processes and ensure the training of all employees in any new processes.


Your responsibilities will be:

  • Working with marketing and product teams to define CTQ-parameters
  • Guiding new products and processes through the relevant control systems to ensure that launches run smoothly from the beginning.
  • Working closely with the customer service in order to gain customer insights
  • Analysing, documenting and reporting customer complaints, and internal quality data. Converting findings into process improvements.
  • Following up on process improvements and documenting these improvements in the relevant quality systems.
  • Collaborating with operations managers and other team members to develop and implement controls and improvements.
  • Discussing improvements and coordinating with the Global Quality Assurance team.
  • Performing internal audits and corrective actions related to quality focus areas.

  • Degree in quality, industrial or mechanical engineering
  • Relevant experience in quality engineering and knowledge of Lean (preferable).
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • You are a real team-player with the ability to influence others, and to translate views into actions.
  • No problem with occasional travel.
