Vista is looking for a tactical leader and people manager to join our Global Email Marketing team. This team is responsible for flawlessly executing global email campaign & channel strategies that increase long term customer value and support overall business objectives.  As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will facilitate the execution of email campaigns for European markets in our marketing automation platform with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, while partnering alongside strategic stakeholders in Europe in the creation and implementation of complex campaign & channel strategies.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate and flawlessly execute European email campaigns within our marketing automation platform, including customer targeting, HTML set-up, and basic deliverability reporting
  • Work cross-functionally with members of our European team, analytics, creative, and technology groups to create, develop and execute email marketing strategies for customers. This includes A/B and multivariate tests, action-based emails, segmentation based treatments, as well as seasonally relevant campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of direct reports on the European email operations team.
  • Optimize internal email creation process and effectively manage resources to improve execution timelines.
  • Lead and closely monitor Vista’s deliverability, with a continuous pulse on industry best practices and action to maintain a strong reputation.
  • Develop new processes and find opportunities to evolve current ones to improve the way we work with the goal of delivering value to the customer more quickly, through automation and technical solutions.

Your Qualifications:

  • University degree in marketing or other relevant area
  • 5+ years email marketing experience
  • 3+ years direct leadership experience, with a consistent track record of executing robust campaign strategies and results through their own work and the work of others.
  • Marketing automation platform experience (Iterable, Oracle Responsys, Salesforce) with a shown ability to execute complex campaigns.
  • Proven knowledge of HTML/CSS across multiple browsers and platforms; Able to code a marketing email using HTML and intermediate level of skills with JavaScript
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically to ensure successful marketing campaign execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
  • A passion for problem solving and a knack for creative solutioning on the fly

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in working in agile or scrum
  • Familiarity with ESP specific code languages is a plus
