You’ll be working as part of a skilled, collaborative team to continue to drive our existing platform as well as jointly design and implement high visibility applications.

As a Full stack Senior Software Engineer within CARE Technology Tribe, you will join a team of energetic software engineers building a highly visible platform based on React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, Typescript, AWS cloud services, and several other cutting-edge technologies that will be used by thousands of customer CARE specialists in assisting millions of customers across the globe.

 

Your role will involve

  • Building applications using React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, Typescript, and AWS cloud services
  • Actively contributing to code/design review and pair-programming sessions
  • Collaborating with Product Manager(s) to understand business use cases, design, develop, test, and document solutions
  • Contributing in building & documenting flexible, scalable, and robust state-of-the-art implementation for our Customer Service Platform to meet current and future needs. Participating in component design discussions
  • Following design and code best practices and documenting them
  • Contributing in mentoring junior software engineers
  • Working closely with our product manager(s) to ensure we're building the best products
  • Troubleshooting issues and taking part of your team’s operational responsibility for its owned services
  • Developing at the core of the new Vistaprint technology platform with the best in breed solutions
  • Communicating cross-functionally with team members, product owners, and business stakeholders
  • Growing your skills every day by working on challenging problems with talented engineers
  • Contributing to a fun and results-driven team culture

  

In return you will bring 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field with at least 2 years of experience working in software engineering
  • Can do mindset and problem-solving skills regardless of the technology
  • Experience in Object oriented design and programming
  • Experience in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON
  • Experience with ReactJS, its principles, and workflows
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and knowledge of DevSecOps best practices
  • Experience in mocking and unit testing
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills including fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from a variety of departments
  • Experience in a fast paced, agile environment

 

Would be great if you have

 

  • Experience building cloud native applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Industry experience in e-commerce and customer service
