The Omnichannel Analytics team at Vista is on a mission to show small businesses how we can be their expert partner for all their design and marketing needs through inspiring and relevant messaging personalized to their stage of the decision-making journey.

In this Senior Analyst role, you will be embedded as a consultant in the Omnichannel Excellence and Activation team, working directly with our data-focused marketing partners. You will play an integral role in developing our measurement capabilities to provide a clearer view of marketing performance and using this data to advocate for optimization opportunities. You’ll find yourself designing and evaluating experiments, while also running investigative analyses into customer behavior to generate new hypotheses to test and insight to put into practice.


What You Will Do:

  • Translate the sophisticated into the simple and concrete. Through data exploration, visualization, and storytelling, you will identify trends and drivers from our large data sets and identify new priority focal areas that lead to better customer experiences and business outcomes.
  • Take the lead on running end-to-end experimentation. We see our experimentation practice as cyclical –we take insights or outcomes from past experiments or data points, build hypotheses from these, design new tests to build upon this knowledge and then evaluate to then generate further hypotheses and insights.
  • Thrive with innovation. We love to test things that have never been done before–new channels, new tech, new models, new analytical methodologies, new strategy –all in a controlled experiment before we then roll out. You will need to collaborate with data, tech, and marketing partners to make sure we have the right setup to run successful experiments and the right critical metrics to measure success of them.
  • Work in an embedded marketing team. This is an embedded role meaning you will work day-to-day in a diverse, multi-functional team with strategists and Operations specialists. You will, however, also be part of our analytics community where you can draw upon analytics standard methodologies and collaborate with other like-minded analysts.
  • Join the dots across multiple functions. While working primarily in support of Direct Marketing and Merchandizing marketing, you’ll also establish new frameworks partnering with our Global Go To Market, Promotions and Tech & Data modeling teams to evolve personalization and audience-based communications.
  • Work on impactful initiatives. Here are just a few examples of initiatives that you will drive and support when you join:
  • Identifying additional opportunities for model-driven automated campaign decisioning
  • Converting more site traffic to join Email marketing database via opt in consent strategy or flow optimizations
  • Designing measurement strategies and learning agendas for improving customer experience through clearer merchandising of promotions onsite
  • Exploring customer behavior data to identify audience segments for whom to design bespoke experiences to improve retention rates


Your Qualifications:

  • Passionate about data and technology. You are proficient in SQL queries. You have data visualization experience (ideally in Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar).
  • Experienced. 2+ years in an analytics environment to drive important business /customer impact.
  • Experience in designing/monitoring and analyzing experiments (A/B, multi-variant, Bayesian, multi-arm-bandit) using statistical rigor and able to guide collaborators on how to accurately interpret the test results. Moreover, you are comfortable with exploratory analysis and statistical techniques and are driven to find important patterns and trends in the data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proficient level of English.


Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
