About the Job
Join the DevOps team within the Product Catalog domain, dedicated to designing and managing a Fault-Tolerant Architecture that supports software applications. Our goal is to empower Product Information Management (PIM) services with standardized, resilient, and highly available infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll provide robust cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and security to streamline the service deployment experience.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives on state-of-the-art technology and enjoys working with a diverse global team. You'll actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of new and existing systems, delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Your role will involve collaborating across the organization, optimizing developer efficiency, and ensuring infrastructure reliability
Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage a robust and fault-tolerant infrastructure for various domain teams.
  • Simplify infrastructure management to increase k8s adoption.
  • Reduce complexity and improve user experience, thereby optimizing developer efficiency and accelerating delivery.
  • Define and implement security measures and plans to ensure infrastructure reliability.
  • Maximize system reliability and stability through chaos engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Deliver core infrastructure the engineering teams depend on
  • Maintain and enhance our Kubernetes-based application platform
  • Optimize existing systems and services to improve their reliability and availability
  • Improve our infrastructure monitoring and incident management
  • Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, and integrate them with the current environment
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to guide them on cloud-native best practices
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to provide robust continuous delivery practices
  • Collaborate with the Security team to deliver secure infrastructure
  • Document processes and update the knowledge base
  • Coach and support team members

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Deep understanding of DevOps principles
  • Experience implementing CI/CD
  • Comfortable writing backend software and automation tooling (Bash, Go, Python, etc.)
  • Experienced in designing and implementing highly scalable infrastructure
  • Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code, and automation tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane, etc.)
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (or any other cloud provider)
  • Experience in Kubernetes and Docker or other container platforms
  • Experience with ArgoCD or FluxCD is appreciated
  • Experience with source code development tools and version control tools (GitHub, Git, GitLab, etc.)
  • Experience in debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys collaborating with others remotely and has excellent communication skills
  • Love learning about new technologies and related tools to introduce to the company to grow the product and development environment
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. You need to have the ability to demonstrate effective communications, write clear documentation
