Lead Software Engineer, Product Catalog - US Remote

Our Team

As a Lead Software Engineer in the Product Catalog Domain, you will join a motivated team focused on building the next generation platform to deliver on Cimpress’ number one strategic priority. The squad you will join owns the core product modeling technology powering the Mass Customization Platform – including an array of microservices deployed on AWS, a set of proprietary data modeling algorithms, and a handful of debugging & visualization UI tools.

We are looking for engineers who are eager to work on complex problems and build scalable services. If you aren’t familiar with some of this, don’t worry - there will be plenty of learning opportunities available.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain core algorithms for efficient and accurate model processing to support and grow the Mass Customization Platform.
• Continually deploy new code through pipelines powered by GitLab CI/CD.
• Leverage your years of development experience to grow the engineering acumen of the squad by partnering, pairing, and mentoring.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to overcome complex challenges with innovative technical solutions.
• Design RESTful APIs to help power eCommerce businesses across the world.
  
  

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of non-internship experience developing complex applications with a focus on high-quality delivery.
• 5+ years of experience with relevant tools and languages, specifically Java and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with algorithms and a deep understanding of computer science foundations.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architecture as they relate to complex logic and system performance.
• Experience with service and application provisioning, deployment, and orchestration within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  
  

Nice to Have:

• A diverse technical background and a passion for staying current with algorithmic trends and computer science advancements.
• Ability to work comfortably with a variety of partners—engineers, product managers, and lead architects—to solve technical hurdles.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes) for managing compute-heavy workloads.
• A genuine passion for algorithms and technical problem-solving.

Compensation: 

US Target Hiring Range :$126,000.00 - $214,000.00 Per Year

Cimpress/Vista is committed to transparent and competitive compensation. In alignment with our compensation philosophy, 
the target hiring range is based on total cash compensation across our multiple U.S. pay zones. The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as location, education, training, and experience. Cimpress/Vista offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, wealth and wellness programs, as well as long-term equity incentives, subject to eligibility.
