Senior Privacy Program Manager - Spain Remote
Barcelona, B, ES, 08019
Who We Are:
Cimpress Technology develops cutting-edge, best-in-world software that our mass customization businesses use to create personalized products for over 17 million global customers. Our Mass Customization Platform is comprised of modular, multi-tenant services. Our businesses can choose the solutions that work for them, or assemble any custom combination they need. This makes it easier and faster to do things like introduce new products, reach customers and track orders. And this kind of innovation keeps customers coming back. Just last year, Cimpress generated $2.88B in revenue through customized print products, signage, apparel, packaging and more.
We encourage our engineers to think like an owner – to continue to act small as we grow. Every team defines their own roadmaps, and uses the programming languages and technologies that suit them best. This helps us have a big impact at the enterprise level while still feeling small and nimble.
The Cimpress Security and Privacy team is seeking an entrepreneurial, collaborative program manager to join our global team and work with the head of Privacy and Data Governance to advance data protection priorities and projects across the company. The person in this role will be one of three program managers in the CSP organization but will be embedded with the Privacy & Data Governance team. The Privacy Program Manager will work closely the central Cimpress Technology team and partner with privacy leaders across the businesses in the Cimpress portfolio. We are looking for a highly motivated colleague to join a globally distributed team at a growing, data-driven e-commerce company!
What You Will Do:
- Develop the roadmap and prioritization for the Privacy & Data Governance team in conjunction with the team lead.
- Partner closely with the technology, analytics and security stakeholders to drive data protection initiatives while still empowering the business to deliver for our customers.
- Work collaboratively with other program managers on the CSP team to establish and evolve team best practices.
- Help establish and improve data protection and governance processes and documentation and coordinate the development of self-help resources for our internal customers.
- Work closely with the security engineering and security operations team to drive an effective, risk-based data security program and maintain a world-class incident response capability.
- Develop and implement efficient and scalable programs that address global record keeping and data mapping requirements, while always maintaining a focus on the substantive risks to customer and employee data.
- Design and manage metrics that drive prioritization, influence stakeholders, and measure effectiveness of the provacy and data governance program.
Your Qualifications:
At Cimpress, we value the experiences that individual team members add to our culture. Please don't hesitate to apply even if you don't meet the exact qualifications, we look forward to learning more about you!
- 4+ years of project management experience in an agile, tech-centric environment
- Experience driving projects from planning to execution to completion across functions and geographies through influence and without explicit line authority. The Privacy and Data Governance team doesn’t have dedicated engineers or analysts, so an ability to coordinate among teams with competing backlogs is critical.
- Comfortable in a dynamic working environment with a preference for creatively solving problems rather than managing highly defined projects.
- Excellent communications skills and an ability to translate among business needs, technical constraints, and legal requirements.
Nice to Have:
- Background in privacy and data security is not required, but a strong interest in those issues and demonstrated willingness to learn is essential.
- Experience working in an e-commerce company or SaaS platform.
