Location:

Waltham, MA, US, 02451

Company:  Cimpress Services

Who We Are:

Cimpress Services' central teams allow us to remain entrepreneurial; to stay small as we grow. These teams enable our businesses to remain laser-focused on their customers and build the tools and services that make Cimpress greater than the sum of our businesses. We are problem solvers. We are storytellers. We are forward thinking. We are relationship builders. We are responsible for company-wide activities like accounting, capital allocation, global tax planning, procurement, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and protecting the company through compliance and risk management. We’re evolving our processes and technology to support Cimpress’ rapid growth.

We’re currently looking for a motivated individual to fill a manager role on our team. This individual will play an integral role in driving external financial reporting requirements to high-quality completion as well as providing US GAAP advice to key partners across our central teams and decentralized businesses. Our high-energy team works collaboratively and encourages each other’s growth as subject matter experts in technical accounting and SEC reporting.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare SEC filings (10-Qs and 10-Ks), including the following:
    • Prepare detailed disclosure support and review other team members' support.
    • Draft new disclosures for inclusion in SEC filings.
    • Act as an owner of each quarterly document.
    • Prepare or review disclosure checklists.
    • Collaborate to internally address iXBRL tagging requirements.
    • Support our quarterly earnings release workstream and internal reporting processes.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow statement proofs, assist with the creation of quarterly cash flow analytics, and develop toward presenting cash flow analytics during our quarterly CFO review meeting.
  • Research key accounting topics and effectively communicate positions to partners across our decentralized businesses and our cross-functional corporate finance teams (including corporate accounting, corporate FP&A, corporate systems, equity administration, investor relations, treasury, and tax).
  • Develop interpretations of accounting guidance and memorialize our accounting positions for unique and complex transactions, such as restructuring or reorganization activities, mergers and acquisitions, investments in minority interests, and hedging transactions.
  • Support the implementation of newly emerging accounting standards and requirements from the FASB and SEC; including, but not limited to, the expense disaggregation proposal, expanded segment disclosure requirements, and climate-related disclosures.
  • Actively engage in the development of global accounting policies.
  • Become a “super user” of our finance and consolidation tools in an environment that fosters continuous improvement.
  • Manage work with the audit team, including walkthrough procedures and substantive requests as they pertain to the SEC reporting and technical accounting workstreams.

Your Qualifications:

At Cimpress, we value the experiences that individual team members add to our culture. Please don't hesitate to apply even if you don't meet the exact qualifications, we look forward to learning more about you!

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA license.
  • Four to six years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or Regional Firm required).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements.
