Procurement Intern, CAPEX team - Netherlands Remote

Capex Global Procurement is one of the few central capabilities that support all of Cimpress businesses. Our team obtains the best manufacturing technology for Cimpress: the “maximum value” out of strategic relationships with category-world-leading suppliers across the many industry categories: an optimal balance between cost, productivity, sustainability, complemented with expert market and product knowledge. 

One of the challenges for our Capex Procurement value creation is to coordinate our highly decentralized businesses to go to market leveraging our collective knowledge and our buying power. For that, we want the support of a motivated, resourceful and technology curious Global Capex Procurement Trainee to build our knowledge sharing projects and our decision making processes. 

You will have the chance to learn how to create supplier value in a post-acquisition Integration environment of highly decentralized businesses, which could inspire you to write your end of studies thesis.

The 10-month Capex team internship (September '25 - June '26) is mostly remote, requiring occasional visits to the Venlo factory for briefings and manufacturing exposure.

What You Will Do

• Support for tenders’ planning: Data gathering, consolidate requirements, update files;
• Negotiation preparation: documentation management, support tactics and strategy design;
• Budget preparation: confirm the latest pricing and current volumes;
• Project management: support project updates and reviews on the company’s cloud spend management solution;
• Price management: Support internal communication on price changes to ensure alignment at multiple businesses;
• Material classification maintenance: ensure that classification on Spend management solution is accurate, including sustainability information.
• Market Intelligence: understand, consolidate, and present market data to support procurement decisions.

Your Qualifications

• Starting 3rd year or above of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business and Engineering, or Supply Chain Management;
• Good experience in using Excel;
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analytics;
• Fluent in English;

Nice to Have

• Other languages are a plus, preferably German, Italian or French;
• 2 years’ experience in Packaging, Graphic Printing or Signage categories;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit, ambitious, curious;
• Well organized, analytical, with high attention to detail;
• Commercial mentality.
