This position is an opportunity for the intern to build hands-on experience in multiple activities that are core to a career in Global Procurement. Our intern will be fully involved in the team of Procurement Category Managers responsible for millions of Euros of Cimpress Globally.
The main responsibility of the intern is to support project management including negotiation, requirements consolidation, category classification, and additional Procurement projects and Contract activities.

Start Date: September 2025
Eligibility: This internship requires candidates to be actively enrolled in a university or academic program within the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship
What You Will Do:
This position is an excellent opportunity for an intern to gain hands-on experience in the intersection of data engineering and global procurement operations. The intern will play an integral role in supporting the Procurement Excellence Data Engineer and Data Analysts by enabling data availability, consistency and quality.
The main responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain data pipelines
- Clean and transform procurement data
- Launch and monitor processes for data ingestion on different platforms
- Validate the results of data loading processes, accuracy, potential errors and improvements
- Develop dashboards and reports when required
- Support in the deployment of AI-based solutions
- Document current data flows and databases
- Support the team in the integration of data from multiple sources.
This role offers also exposure to key procurement activities such as supplier management, spend analysis, and cost optimization, by providing the data backbone for these initiatives through different data management methodologies and techniques.

Studies & Experience:
- Starting 3rd year or above of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economy, Computer sciences or any similar technical studies
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in coding documentation, running extraction and ingestion processes to keep data repositories updated, managing and documenting accesses to applications and systems, data cleaning and maintenance processes, testing technical solutions, running process automations, and managing and maintaining master data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-Starter, entrepreneurial spirit, curious and very proactive.
- Well organized with attention to detail.
- Used to work with spreadsheets and databases.
- Intermediate experience in programming languages as python or javascript
- Experience in SQL.
Other requirements:
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have:
- Experience on Google Workspace and related tools (docs, sheets, slides, gmail), and Jira / Atlassian.
- Experience on agile methodologies.
- Supply Chain / Procurement experience
- Other languages are a plus, preferably Spanish
