We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our central Procurement team as Procurement Category Manager with a focus on Manufacturing Outsourcing. At Cimpress Procurement, we are a global, lean and highly strategic team of senior procurement experts, delivering outstanding services and value to all Cimpress businesses, that include global companies like Vista, National Pen, and many other market leaders in the mass customization market.

What You Will Do:

Cimpress Procurement is a strategic shared capability within Cimpress Services, with the mission to deliver to our businesses a strong Procurement Value Proposition. You will be part of the “Procurement Services” team, contributing to generate competitive advantages for our businesses around the world.

Your main focus will be to support the Cimpress businesses on the strategic procurement of their outsourced manufacturers (also called here fulfillers), and you might be involved in other indirect opportunities and projects.

Your mission will be to:

Deliver the performance of the Manufacturing Outsourcing Category:

  • Understand the category objectives (financial and non financial) and our Value Proposition to the business
  • Create the approach and plans to achieve the targets, with exceptional implementation of all projects included
  • Exceptional project implementation and delivery

Deliver the Procurement Value Proposition, consisting of :

  • Cost leadership
  • Sources of New Revenue
  • Sustainability and CSR
  • Business Continuity

Build the Category Strategy and generate Scope expansion:

  • Develop and implement the category strategy, sharing it across businesses and updating as the businesses’ needs evolve
  • Drive the growth of our scope and influence through strong collaboration models with the businesses

Contribute to Supplier Management:

  • Develop the necessary network to ensure mutual understanding of business needs and access to all suppliers’ resources, capabilities and innovations

Manage the Business relationships and expectations:

  • Develop the relationship and establish the governance with the different businesses
  • Trusted “point of contact” at Cimpress businesses for commercial and executive interaction

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or another related field of study
  • Have at least 5 or more years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years of experience focused on Manufacturing Outsourcing categories
  • Experience working in a large international company with multiple business units, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structure
  • Position may require travel up to 20% per year

Nice to have:

  • Other indirect procurement category experience: marketing, technology, professional services, etc…
  • Analytical skills, good knowledge of business analysis and costing – Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models [SJ1]
  • Experience reading/interpreting contracts and partnering with Legal when necessary[SJ2]
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Language skills in German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish or French
