Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Specialist with an exceptional focus on Microsoft Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage and monitor Microsoft Azure resources, including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure, Apple Business Manager, and Microsoft Exchange.
    • Implement and optimize Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
    • Develop and implement service level agreement (SLA) standards.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices and ensure that resources are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
    • Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, implementing necessary patches and updates.
    • Proficiency in handling malware, antivirus software, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery:
    • Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions using Backup and Site Recovery.
    • Conduct regular testing and drills to ensure data integrity and system recoverability.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Plan and implement secure networks, computer systems, and application architectures.
    • Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance Azure resource efficiency.
    • Monitor resource usage and cost management, optimizing resource allocation to control expenses.
    • Architect IT environments with redundancy, duplication, and security protection against various threats.
    • Manage IT infrastructure functions in on-site and off-site data centers and cloud environments.



  • Automation and Scripting:
    • Create and maintain automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, CLI, or other scripting languages.
    • Implement proactive, preventive, and reactive maintenance measures.
  • Monitoring and Alerts:
    • Set up and manage monitoring tools and Application Insights to proactively identify issues and generate alerts.
    • Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
    • Use technology systems to detect patterns of anomalous network and security behavior.
    • Monitor network infrastructure health and traffic flows, and provision resources for internal and external users.
    • Maintain logs for cyber-attacks on the organizational network and use threat assessment tools.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, procedures, and best practices.
    • Provide training and knowledge sharing to IT staff and end-users on relevant topics.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • License management for Microsoft/Adobe, application support, configurations, installations, and troubleshooting.
    • Managing software licensing and upgrades, and providing service desk support.
    • Collaborate with external partners, auditors, and consultants on risk management and regulatory compliance projects.
    • Manage help desk and ticketing systems, set up and authorize resources for new users, and handle identity and access management.
    • Manage security applications and assess technical controls.
    • Handle system management for multiple platforms and applications.
    • Capability in secure cloud computing platforms and expertise with security tools like CrowdStrike and PaloAlto.
    • Network management, including on-premises domain, DHCP reservations, DNS, etc.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in IT operations and system administration with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure.
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, CLI, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
