DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Cimpress, you will be working on AWS, Azure, OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions, automate deployment processes, and ensure the reliability and security of our AWS and other cloud based applications. You will also work on troubleshooting issues in live Production environments along with Development & Test environments deployed on AWS, Azure & OCI cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS and other (OCI & Azure) cloud based infrastructure and services.
• Lead efforts to automate and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Optimize AWS resources for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure AWS-based applications are well-architected and optimized.
• Monitor AWS resources and application performance, and troubleshoot issues proactively using AWS Services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, etc
• Implement and maintain security measures and compliance standards across AWS & OCI environments.
• Automate backup, disaster recovery, and system maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in one of the scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or Bash is essential.
• Stay up-to-date with AWS & OCI best practices and emerging cloud technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on AWS.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, Load Balancers, CloudFront, API Gateway, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency in AWS CLI and AWS SDKs.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, CodeBuild).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure and OCI knowledge and experience is a plus
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a significant advantage.
